5/9/11: Dr. Virts appointed as Dental School Instructor!  Dr. Michael Virts of Frederick Pediatric Dentistry, LLC has been appointed to a “Dean’s Faculty” volunteer faculty position at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore.   His title is “Clinical Instructor.”   Of course, he will remain full-time with our practice- this is strictly a volunteer-based program.

4/15/2011: Frederick Pediatric Dentistry Joins Johns Hopkins Cleft Palate Team! Dr. Joe Camacho and Dr. Mike Virts have joined the Johns Hopkins Cleft Palate Team.  Based in Baltimore and Hagerstown, MD, the team serves the needs of young children born with cleft lip and/or palate.   We are privileged to be the only pediatric dentists on this prestigious team.

1/30/2011: Frederick Pediatric Dentistry Approved for Class 1 Sedation Permit by the State Board of Dental Examiners! Recently, our practice was inspected by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners for a Class 1 Sedation Permit.  We are proud to announce that we have since received notification from the Board that we have passed the inspection.  Our office has the privilege of being one of only 35 dental practices in the State of Maryland to have registered for and been granted this permit.
