Meet Dr. Camacho
Dr. Joseph Camacho received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Maryland. He completed his dental school training in Guadalajara, Mexico. Dr. Camacho finished his Pediatric Dentistry residency program at Howard University College of Dentistry. He has had extensive training at Howard University Hospital, The Hospital for Sick Children, Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, and The District of Columbia General Hospital. Dr. Camacho has been practicing pediatric dentistry in the Washington, Baltimore, and Frederick metropolitan area for 23 years. He established Frederick Pediatric Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Camacho is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Frederick County Dental Society, of which he was the President for 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. He is also an active member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has been married for 30 years to his wife, Martha, and they have a daughter, Martha, 27, and a son, John Paul, 19.
