This pandemic has impacted all of our lives and redefined what is “the new normal”. At Frederick Pediatric Dentistry our highest priority has never wavered: the safety of our children patients, their families and our staff. To that end you'll notice some changes made to our office.
- We upgraded our HVAC system to include Air Scrubbers. This will filter out any contaminants that enter our office from the environment
- The installation of sneeze barriers at the Front Desk
- The closure of our Waiting Room
- Implementation of curb side check in
- Pre-Screening COVID-19 questionnaire prior to entry
- Maximizing Social Distancing by allowing only 1 patient and 1 Parent at a time
- Implementing 1 way traffic flow throughout the office
- No toys or magazines as they are hard to disinfect
- Increased disinfection protocols on smooth surfaces
- Installation of air purifiers in rooms
- Utilization of Face Shields, and Long Sleeve Jackets
- Propping
doors open to avoid touching door handles
- We constantly monitor the latest recommendations of the CDC (The Center for Disease Control), the American Dental Association (ADA), The Maryland State Department of Health, and O.S.H.A. (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration) to ensure we are in compliance with the latest recommendations. These recommendations can change daily.
