At Frederick Pediatric Dentistry, we are committed to providing children and families with compassionate, professional, and high-quality pediatric dental care. We recognize that questions, concerns, and disagreements may occasionally arise, and we welcome the opportunity to listen and address them.
We also believe that our patients and our team members deserve an environment in which everyone is treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
We ask that all patients, parents, guardians, family members, and visitors:
We understand that parents may become frustrated or disagree with a treatment recommendation, financial responsibility, scheduling decision, or other aspect of their child’s care. Parents are encouraged to express those concerns and ask questions.
When a concern arises, our team will make every reasonable effort to listen, explain the situation, and work toward an appropriate resolution. If a conversation becomes disrespectful or disruptive, a team member or manager may pause the discussion and ask that it resume when everyone is able to communicate respectfully.
Frederick Pediatric Dentistry does not tolerate verbal abuse, threats, harassment, intimidation, discriminatory language, or behavior that creates an unsafe or disruptive environment for our patients or team members.
Depending on the circumstances, inappropriate conduct may result in the conversation being ended, involvement of practice management, or other appropriate action. Serious or repeated violations may result in dismissal from the practice.
Our goal is not to discourage families from raising concerns. Quite the opposite—we want parents to feel comfortable asking questions and advocating for their children. This policy simply establishes that concerns can and should be addressed without compromising the dignity or safety of our patients and team members.
We appreciate your partnership in helping us maintain a welcoming, respectful environment for the children and families we serve.
